| Details: | SUMMARY: Boil Notice due to Line Break and Loss of Pressure DETAILS: I received a call from Bill Mitchell at about 8:15 AM who reported that they had a line break overnight between midnight and 5 am this morning, which caused a loss of pressure in most of the system. Crews were working on it overnight, but several high elevation services were still without water. Boil notices are being disseminated over the radio and published in the paper today. The notice will remain in effect until pressure is restored, the sytem is flushed and sampling (anticipated to be collected tomorrow) indicates an absence of coliform bacteria. ACTION NEEDED: System to repair lines and complete flushing and coliform sampling. System must be fully pressurized and testing must show the absence of coliform bacteria prior to lifting the boil water notice. | ||
