| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform alert DETAILS: Second quarter positive coliform on sample 6/24/11. Contacted Ralph, owner, 6/28/11 and informed him that 4 repeat samples must be submitted prior to the end of the current month and 5 routine samples must be submitted in the following month of July. Mr. Howard stated the firm has a functioning chlorinator and he obtained the 6/24/11 sample from a post chlorination sink faucet. He tested the chlorine residual just prior to taking the sample. Testing indicated the chlorine residual was approximately 1ppm. He further stated he will obtain one repeat sample and submit it prior to the end of June. He wants to ensure a negative result before he spends money on the additional 3 repeat samples. ACTION NEEDED: 4 repeat samples needed by the end of June. If those come back clean the firm will need to take five routine samples in July. | ||
