| Details: | SUMMARY: Repeats coliform positive DETAILS: Contacted system to let them know the source sample was positive. Since the system does not chlorinate the source sample counts as a repeat and causes an MCL violation. I emailed a copy of the resolved and unresolved public notice to Karen. I also emailed a link to the health effects of coliform as well as instructions on how to disinfect the well. I let Karen know they will need to take 5 temporary samples in the month of July. I also suggested they take a special sample after disinfection to be sure that it was effective at elimination the coliform. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor follow up samples and obtain a copy of the public notice | ||
