| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform alert DETAILS: I contacted Bill via telephone 7/25/11. He was aware of the positive coliform sample and stated the systems particulate filter was heavily occluded. Mr. Shires was planning on changing the filter today and had already shock chlorinated the well. I informed him of the requirement to obtain 4 repeat sample (post UV treatment) plus one source sample (pre UV treatment) and 5 routine samples in August. I also informed the operator he must test all sample taps for chlorine prior to the repeat sample collection to ensure there is no chlorine residual. Mr. Shires agreed to complete all sampling as required. ACTION NEEDED: Four repeat samples plus one source sample need to be taken prior to the end of July if those come back clean the firm will need to take five routine samples in August. | ||
