Details: SUMMARY: Height of wellhead DETAILS: It was observed by Kris Byrd that the height of the wellhead was nearly flush with the land surface. Amy Parmenter and Russel Kazmierczak provided maps indicating the market was within the 100 year flood level and therefore the wellhead was in violation due to it not being protected from flooding, as it is not at least 2 feet above the anticipated 100 year flood level. Contact was made with the owner on 5/5/11 to discuss the issue. He stated he understood the problem and would have a well company out to provide an estimate within 1 week. He would call me to provide details on when it could be completed. Work completed 6/1/11 and a site visit done 6/16/11. Casing was extended at least 2 feet and a well tag is on the casing. ACTION NEEDED: None
