Details: SUMMARY: follow up to high nitrate result over MCL DETAILS: Spoke with Jackie on 9/2. System is currently on monthly nitrate monitoring. Explained that the treatment situation needs to be addressed. A public notice was sent to the water system and a copy received back in the office. The notice was posted on 9/3/11. Ken Dunder with Hydrokinetics called on 9/2 to discuss the current treatment and proposed amended treatment. She spoke with Bill about said treatment. Management needs to approve treatment and Ken said he would send Bill information for the plan review. ACTION NEEDED: Continue monthly nitrate monitoring. Public notice to stay posted until sample result comes in below the MCL. System to address amended treatment options.
