| Details: | SUMMARY: Requirements to install UV DETAILS: Inquiry on permissibility to use UV for bacterial detection. Total coliform only in well and distribution system (no E. coli). May use UV that is NSF Standard A 55 compliant. Unit may be installed before the first user, it does not have to be in the well house. Installation of UV will not affect existing sampling schedules. Plan review must be initiated before installing device. If E. coli is detected in the future, a NSF Standard A 55 compliant device will not provide treatment credit. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
