| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed compliance with civil penalty settlement DETAILS: Dee called regarding public notice and the installation of the arsenic treatment system at Valley Vista. She was able to answer her questions after talking to Mike Obereigner at Jackson County and Scott Curry for DWP. She stated notice was delivered at the last board meeting of the District or was hand delivered to residents not in attendance. She is mailing a copy of the notice that was delivered. The treatment system is installed and working, and Scott Curry will inspect the treatment tomorrow (Wednesday Sept. 28). I also mentioned to Dee that it would be beneficial to invest in a arsenic field test kit to better monitor arsenic levels in treated and raw water. This should help Valley Vista to better maintain the treatment system and prevent problems where other systems have exceeded the MCL. ACTION NEEDED: N/A | ||
