| Details: | SUMMARY: follow up on resident complaint DETAILS: Al called initially on 9/30/11 to report a compaint regarding the water at his connection. Al indicated that the water at his house smells. He mentioned that he contacted the City, and was concernced that the City had a chlorine residual at less than 0.2 mg/L on a day in late September. I referred Al to the City, but mentioned that I would follow up his complaint with the City as well. I spoke with Dan of the Rainier Water Dept., who mentioned that chlorine residuals had been turned up at the plant, around 9/29/11, in response to residuals that were initially around 0.2 mg/L in the area of the positive in the distribution. Chlorine residuals higher in system now, and around 0.6 mg/L at the water plant, according to Dan. I called Al back on 10/3/11, to report this information, and mention that the City had take appropriate follow up actions after the 9/29/11 routine coliform positive sample. ACTION NEEDED: I again referred Al to the City for further issues/concerns regarding the smell of water at his house. | ||
