Details: SUMMARY: Discussed well drilling delay DETAILS: I called Laura Cochran to determine if the planned well (meant to resolve the exceedance of the arsenic MCL) had been drilled. Laura stated that it had not been finished, and that she was still waiting on money from a few sources for drilling to commence. I stressed the need to have the well drilled as quickly as possible in order to meet the December 31 deadline for compliance with the arsenic MCL. Laura doesnt think it will be a problem to meet the final deadline. She is going to speak to the well driller to arrange a payment plan and call the Program next week with updated information. ACTION NEEDED: None
