| Details: | SUMMARY: Phthalate Alert Response - MCL Violation DETAILS: Spoke with school superintendent Eric Milburn. Discussed the MCL violation and public notice requirement. Mailed draft public notice to the school. Recommended collecting phthalate samples from nearby private wells to try and determine if there is contamination in the groundwater aquifer versus phthalates leaching from some plastics inside the well. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to distribute public notice, collect 4th quarter entry point sample, collect samples from nearby private wells, investigate other potential sources of the contaminant. | ||
