| Details: | SUMMARY: Algae / High Chlorine complaint DETAILS: A consumer in CRW-Clackamas called the state (via Bonnie Widerburg) regarding odors, particularly when using hot water in shower or washing dishes. It was described as a somewhat chronic problem. Peter contacted Rob Cummings at the WTP to discuss strategies for reducing algaes taste and odor effects today and in future. Peter spoke to the consumer to relay that the WTP is doing its due diligence in attempting to treat the problem. The consumer was advised to follow up with Peter or CRW-Clackamas with the results. ACTION NEEDED: CRW will add PAC. CRW also should record the chlorine residual levels in their distribution system sampling so that levels can be more easily tracked. |
