| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine +TC DETAILS: Joel notified me that a routine TCR sample collected yesterday (10.11.2011) tested positive for coliform, negative for E. coli. The sample site is located in the southern portion of the District (385 Zone-- site 80). Three repeats were collected this afternoon. Recovery operations at Grabhorn ASR concluded last month therefore no source water sample was collected. Joel indicated that there was no likely cause identified. Cl2 residuals in that area were a little low (0.18 – 0.22) due to blending of JWC (free) and PWB (chloraminated). Follow up sampling today was much better (1.40). The blending zone is dissipating as a result of moving more PWB water into the southern pressure zones. That being said, he doesnt think this was the cause of the coliform positive-- several samples in the area with identical chemistry were all negative. ACTION NEEDED: No further action needed at this time-- will wait for pending test results and respond accordingly. | ||
