| Details: | SUMMARY: Required DO-NOT-DRINK public notice for arsenic contamination DETAILS: I called John and left a message that a new public notice must be published immediately notifying parents that children weighing 30 lbs or less should not drink the water at McKee Bridge. This is due to the high level of arsenic acting as an acute contaminant for small children. I stated in the message that the notice needs to be hand delivered to everyone at the park and posted in conspicuous locations. I told John that we have written the public notice and that I can email or fax it to him for immediate distribution. Otherwise, the notice is enclosed with a letter that is being mailed today. The letter is similar to the voice mail and formally requires immediate distribution of the public notice due to the arsenic concentration in the sample collected on October 12. ACTION NEEDED: Public notice must be distributed to residents at the McKee Bridge water system. | ||
