| Details: | SUMMARY: follow up to MCL vio for Oct DETAILS: System collected 3 repeat and 1 triggered source sample. The source sample and repeat from the original positive location were positive for total coliform. This gives the system a MCL violation for October. I spoke with Barbara and explained the public notice, violation and additional sampling required. The system is in process of fixing the well cover lid starting Nov. 4th. I recommended that the system pour 2 cups of clorox down the well bore to help with the disinfection after the work had been completed on the well cap. ACTION NEEDED: System to collect 5 routine samples in Nov. Recommended taking the week of Nov. 14th. System was sent a copy of the public notice and results of the Nov. routine samples can be included in the notice. A copy of the notice is to be sent back to DWP for the file. Results of the 5 routine samples will dictate any further action. | ||
