| Details: | SUMMARY: Turbidity violations DETAILS: Turbidity standards were not met in December and February. However, no public notice was received for either occurrence. The operator was contacted and a request was made for him to send a copy of the boil water notice to the state as well as the Douglas County Health Department. A letter was also sent to him outlining and explaining the public notice/turbidity requirements as well as the need to submit results on time. The letter also explained that the results need to be addressed daily if there is a problem not at the end of the month. The operator said there was a lot of sediment in the holding tank which he assumed was the reason for the high turbidity levels. He said they were in the process of cleaning out the holding tank this month to remove all sediment. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
