| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform follow up DETAILS: All 4 repeats taken 9/29/11 were positive for total coliforms. I contacted the operator and discussed shock chlorination of the well. There was 400 of 10" pipe so two gallons of chlorine was added to the well and then pumped into distribution. Shane Johnson of ODOT was given a chlorine test kit and information on public notice for posting. Temporary routine samples will be taken after the chlorine levels return to zero. ACTION NEEDED: Sample #17744 listed as well in one of the repeats is actually the closest spots to sample but it is water that has traveled to the reservoir and to the pressure tank room before it is samples. It is the nearest spot to the well to sample. Operation should add a sample tap closer to the source to reflect its water quality. 5 samples in the month of October after levels of chlorine are gone. I contacted TD water quality lab to have them change the designation of the well sample 10/5/11. | ||
