| Details: | I called the Dollar General Store in Merlin, OR to discuss the recent coliform water sampling results on 10/30/2020. The water sample was positive for total coliform and absent for E. coli, generating alert "COLI20485". I spoke to the store manager, Kelly Swann, regarding the testing that would need to be conducted as a follow-up precaution. The store will take 3 repeat samples and 1 triggered source sample for coliform analysis as soon as possible. The store will also take 3 temporary routine coliform water samples by the end of the month (November). Additionally, I spoke to the Dollar General Regional Manager, Jim Nolan, on 11/02/2020 regarding the total coliform laboratory result. In addition to the triggered testing requirements, I discussed over the phone with Mr. Nolan on how to access and use the SDWIS/Data Online website regarding the water system for the Dollar General Store in Merlin. |
