| Details: | Email with Mike about the alert, here is what he believes happened: because we are in a tourist area the flows do slowdown in the Fall. We do flush the Salishan Spit SS #1 Station a couple days before we take the sample. We haven’t had a problem at the other sample Station Palisades SS # 1 before but there could be less people in that area. There also has been a lot of leaves in Drift Creek from that big wind storm in September that sat in the creek before getting flushed out by the rain. I told Mike to make a note of the incident especially the time of year and conditions and hopefully he can be on alert and precautions can be taken to reduce the HAA5's. |
