Details: SUMMARY: Follow up to lead alert of 0.0184 DETAILS: Discussed alert with Jan. Two sited were high…the kindergarten room #3 drinking fountain at 0.0184 mg/L and room #10 sink at 0.0220 mg/L The school did the testing on 9/13/11. School opened the week prior on 9/6. The kindergarten room wasn’t used until 9/13/11 the day the samples were drawn. The kindergarten kids started one week later that the other kids. I asked Jan to find out who uses room #10. Room #10 is used for 1st graders and the sink had not really been used much at this point. I emailed Chuck Michael to find out if we could get those 2 samples invalidate. Jan emailed me their public notice they have already sent home with the kids and told me they have taken both the sink and drinking fountain out of service…posted signs on each. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for response from Chuck.
