| Details: | SUMMARY: No surface water assessment (SWA) forms submitted for 2 months DETAILS: Ryan is new operator of the system. We discussed the monthly surface water turbidity and water quality data forms that must be completed and mailed into the state office.. Reviewed turbidity max levels and water quality data form and how to figure contact time. Informed that system has increased holding capacity while we were working through the formulas. Two 5,000 gallon tanks, 1 additional 1,000 gal sand filter and building over the existing sand filter where added this summer. Just finishing up with modifications September. Holding capacity now 25,000 gallons. Used flow rate of 25 gpm on average taken at the meter just prior to the 15,000 holding tank. (No effluent flow meter available) and tracer study based on 15,000 holding capacity. 100 contact time used with minimum chlorine residual of 1.1 for actual ct of 110. Water temp 17.5-19.2 and pH of 7.5 maintained. Required ct of 31 through disinfection has been met. Ryan states they have been tracking the water quality parameters just didnt know about the form and submitting it. ACTION NEEDED: Ryan to send to the state September monthly monitoring form. | ||
