| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to coliform alert DETAILS: System did not need to sample since 2 of the original 5 samples were positive. The system should of only taken one for the month but too late now. Repeats were taken and showed positive. System does not have good close access to the water at the well. System batched chlorinated on 11/16/11 and treated water will be sitting in the distribution until Monday 21st and then flushed. ACTION NEEDED: A special sample will be pulled when the chlorine is out of the system. Further course of action will be determined then. 1.5 gal of chlorine bleach was added to the 10,000gal reservoir. Safeway brand chlorine no visible concentration on the label. If it is 5.25.% concentration then the batch would be approximately 7.7ppm. The system was posted non potable. All workers were notified not to drink the water. | ||
