| Details: | SUMMARY: Test results on well #1 DETAILS: System operator contacted this office about necessary testing needed on a well that was being placed in service-- well #1 is an emergency source and had not been used for some time. I discussed this with Michelle Byrd and it was determined that arsenic, nitrate and a bacteriological sample should be taken. The operator posted the system during the switch over to well #1 due to the fact that the results of the samples could not be determined prior to the change over. The results have been sent to the state but not posted at this time. Arsenic level was .0056mg/L well below the MCL, .01. The well was only needed for less than a day but the operator had the well used for at least 2 days to exercise it. System is again using well #3 as primary source. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
