Details: | SUMMARY: Lead and copper alert DETAILS: 4/6/11 Lead and copper samples collected. 11/1/11 Alert issued. 11/2/11 Samples collected on 4/6/11 tested at 0.0334mg/L which exceeds the action level. I called Scott Curry to discuss this alert and he is trying to contact the engineer that installed the treatment system. This system has not completed the plan review process, final approval has not been granted and Scott is working with the engineer that installed the treatment system to work out the final details to get the system working properly and to ensure additional samples are collected to verify proper system function. 11/17/11 Scott received an update from Mark Dew, from Dew Engineering, adjustments have been made with regard to the corrosion inhibitor and lead levels have dropped per the latest sample results. At this point the 90th percentile is right a t the action level. Scott informed me that an additional dosage adjustment will be made and another round of sample results will be collected in three months. ACTION NEEDED: Per Scott Curry: System still working on dialing in the correct phosphate level. Another phosphate level adjustment will be made and additional lead samples need to be collected before final plan review approval can be granted and a revised lead and copper monitoring schedule is set up. | ||
