Details: SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: contacted Mark to let him know that one of five samples taken 11/8 were positive for coliform. I let him know they will need to take a triggered source sample at the well head. They will also need to take 3 repeat samples. I noticed the 5 samples had been sent in labeled as repeats instead of temporary routine. I contacted Chuck at the state and he indicated the operator will need to provide a written request to change the 5 repeat samples to temporary routine as opposed to repeat. If any of the repeats come back positive then he will need to complete an updated public notice. After that it would be a good time to re disinfect the system then take a special sample. ACTION NEEDED: Have Mark send an email to correct the mislabeled samples. Monitor follow up samples and respond if necessary.
