| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed sampling & settlement DETAILS: I called Arturo to discuss sampling requirements and he informed me that they would be sampling for almost all of the applicable chemicals on Tuesday January 24. He mentioned lead and copper and after discussing the matter, he was planning to collect these samples at the well. I informed Arturo that lead and copper samples need to be collected in peoples homes in the morning after pipes have gones un-used for an evening. I thanked him for returning the operator paperwork certifying Juan as the DRC. Lastly, I told Arturo that we will need to draft a new settlement as the last one was received by the Program too late to be effective. The Association would have immediately been in violation and liable to pay the full civil penalty. ACTION NEEDED: Await sampling results. | ||
