| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform follow up DETAILS: Operator has shocked the system twice and the routine samples keep coming up positive. The will has a pitless adapter that pumps to a 10,000 buried reservoir. Access to the reservoir I limited. Ladder down to the hatch so inspection of the reservoir is limited. A pump in the reservoir then lifts the water and it enters distribution. The nearest place to test water is after the pressure tanks. ACTION NEEDED: I spoke to transportation maintenance manager, Shane Johnson 980-4978, and we discussed adding a sample tap near the well so the source water can be evaluated. He will be contacting a plumber for that addition. Once the source water can be evaluated then a decision will be made regarding possible addition of a chlorinator on the system. | ||
