| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform follow up DETAILS: routine sample was positive. Operator believes it is due to the water not being turned over enough from the reservoir at this time of year.5 repeat samples taken 12/19/11 One exiting the reservoir, one triggered and the 3 other in distribution. One sample I believe was from the original positive. ACTION NEEDED: Depending on the result of the repeats, we discussed possible batch chlorination of the reservoir. Due to the slow turnover it may supply enough time to do some disinfection. Operator is currently pumping the well on manual which will make the reservoir overfill. It will flush or refresh the water in the reservoir. | ||
