| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate sample at 5.23 DETAILS: I contacted the operator on 12/14/11 to discuss the yearly nitrate sample at 5.23. I discussed the rule which states the sample must be greater than half the MCL to go on quarterly sampling schedule. According to the state the state does not consider the sample greater than half the MCL until it reaches 5.5. I discussed that future samples at or above 5.5 would require quarterly monitoring. ACTION NEEDED: no action needed since result is less than 5.5. | ||
