Details: | "Of the repeat samples for Total Coliform (TC) submitted November 2, one came back positive. I am including a Level 1 Investigation form for you to complete. Sometimes it’s the way a sample is collected, how the bottle is handled, or something other than the water in the system that leads to a positive TC test—the form can help determine if it really is the water, or the method that is the culprit. Please complete and e-mail, or post, the form back to me as soon as you can. The “Boil Water” notice is still open, according to the Drinking Water Website. I had a call from one of your water customers yesterday who was having a hard time getting information about the status of the notice, and concerned that her water was still unsafe. Please ensure a notice, and instructions for making water safe, is provided to every household and business on the system, and that timely updates are also relayed to the customers." |
