| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: I contacted the operator 1/10/12 to discuss the positive coliform routine samples. These routine samples followed last months positive samples. Corrective action is needed before more samples are taken. On 1/17/12 the operator, Boatright Engineering and myself met at the system to discuss the ongoing coliform issues. The system is going to schedule tank cleaning, valving and flushing the distribution lines. The operator sill take source sample to confirm water quality at the source. Operator did state there was excessive air in the line and that it may be causing biofilme to be scoured off the walls of the pipe and tanks. ACTION NEEDED: Take 4 repeat samples after corrective action, Take 5 routine samples next month. | ||
