| Details: | SUMMARY: Break in the main waterline DETAILS: On December 2, Century Link was digging to install new fiber optic line to the towers at eh top of the hill. During digging the main waterline was broken, emptying the 24,000 gallon reservoir. By that evening Mid Valley Pump had repaired the water line. They were aware there were potential contamination issuers with the break in the line and the chlorine concentration was increased. All residents were notified of the issue and told to not drink the water. 12/8/11 I spoke with Bud and the main line had been repaired and the reservoir refilled with a higher chlorine concentration 0.6ppm residual. Mr. Olsen will be drawing a coliform sample to determine whether the water is now safe to drink., I told him to label the sample as special so that he will not be required to draw repeats, etc.if the sample is positive.
