| Details: | SUMMARY: Operator certification discussion with City DETAILS: Debbie called me today to inquire to the implications if the City is without a certified operator for the treatment plant in the near future. City currently has a certified operator. I indicated that there would be no boil water notice or other restriction for the City to operate the plant. City would need to meet this requirement to have a certified treatment operator as soon as possible. I indicated that a violation would show up on-line for the city but that there are no cost penalties for this violation. I also provided information on upcoming operator certification exams. She then asked about the Citys status with significant deficiencies from 2009 survey. I indicated that we are still working to make sure City meets them. I provided information on cross connection specialist from the DWP website ACTION NEEDED: DWP to continue to support City on Operation Certification and cross connection control specialist questions. | ||
