Details: | SUMMARY: Micro-particulate analysis (MPA) DETAILS: Dan received the results of the first round of the MPAs and the score was 4. I contacted Russ K to discuss the results. He said: Reasons could be, The aquifer material between the well and river is doing an adequate job of filtration 2) The significant amount of rain and runoff that occurred during that major storm event diluted the number/concentration of surface water organisms in the river. 3) The MPA method typically yields results that vary from sample to sample and from lab to lab. He needs to wait 30 days between samples and the state in the Willamette will need to be close to 20 ft and that may not happen for a while. I sent Dan an email explaining he needed to wait 30 days prior to taking the next round, ACTION NEEDED: none |
