| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: Positive test on 12/29/11. I spoke with Betty and she informed me the submersible pump in the system had just been replaced the week prior. After installation a sample was taken however the system was not shocked after the new pump was installed. In all likelihood this is why the test came back positive. I informed her she would still need to take 4 repeat samples and I told her where to take them to confirm the presence or absence of coliform bacteria. She indicated show would do so and she indicated the restaurant would remain closed until the water situation was resolved. I also briefly reviewed with her the process for shock chlorinating her well. ACTION NEEDED: Take 4 repeat samples and shock system if necessary. | ||
