Actions taken:
- On November 5th a follow up email was sent to Scott at BRPWD about lead AL exceedance, follow up sampling and PE requirements. Awaiting response.
- On October 26th I spoke to office assistance about lead AL exceedance letter emailed to district on October 22nd.
- On October 22nd a follow up email was sent to Scott about lead AL exceedance. Email included copy of letter with corrective action due dates to evaluate water corrosiveness and delivery of public education information to customers. Waiting to hear back.
- On October 21st I left a voice message for Scott at Buell-Red Prairie Water District about September lead AL exceedance and required steps to evaluate corrosion control and deliver of public education and consumer notification to individuals that participated in tap sampling. Waiting to hear back.
- On November 17th talked with Kristy Major with BRPWD about lead consumer notice and PE brochure. Emailed her our circuit rider's contact information.
- On November 25th received draft PE brochure from Kristy. The circuit rider is scheduled to visit the water system on December 4th and assist with data collection.
- The lead PE brochure was approved and delivered to customers by December 9th. The district is working with DWS Circuit Rider on collection of water quality parameters. The first round of parameters were collected on December 8th with second round planning the week of the 21st.
