| Details: | SUMMARY: Ethylene Dibromide (EDB) Alert DETAILS: System on a conference call was notified the public notice will need to be posted for a minimum of 7 days but allowed the posting to be extended to February 20, 2012. Margaret Townsend in todays call provided the following information: Test America took samples for EDB and the tests were labeled as waste water and not drinking water since January 2011. It appears the samples may not have been taken in the proper place. Filters have been installed on sinks in lunch rooms, no plan review. The system is shutting down the well as of 2/13/12 and going on the emergency source which is the City of Fairview. ACTION NEEDED: Post a Tier 2 notice at all drinking water access sites, listing the exceedence values for EDB, health issues and the time frames regarding the sample results by February 20, 2012. Submit a plan review to the state for filtering system. | ||
