| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to coliform violations DETAILS: I spoke with Tony by phone on 2/28/12 to get an update on the on going situation. He has been working locally with Quinns plumbing and has installed a UV light for the system. The installation was unknown to Josephine County as well as the state. A sample was taken on 11/22/11 and negative for coliform. I spoke with Scott Curry 2/29/12 and he will send a formal letter stating that the UV light will not be approved but also will not require a plan review process. We agreed to allow the UV light to remain and will require the system resume quarterly monitoring effective 1/1/12. A public notice was issued and received by the state on 8/22/11. I am attaching the results of the latest coliform test with this contact report as well I will contact the system and have them take another coliform sample before the end of march 2012 ACTION NEEDED: Continue to monitor the system and submit coliform samples quarterly. | ||
