| Details: | SUMMARY: Contacted system regarding E. coli positive routine sample. DETAILS: Called water system and left message regarding E. coli positive routine sample. Mr. Den Hyer returned my call and informed me that he had flushed and super chlorinated the reservoir and distribution system and that he would not be able to collect his repeat samples with 24hrs. Mr. Den Hyer was informed to collect the 4 repeat samples as soon as possible and that he should have not shock chlorinated the system before collecting his repeat samples. We also discussed why the residual chlorine for the E. Coli positive was reported at 1.5 mg/L and he explained that he did not actually test the chlorine at the time of sample collection and that he used his park managers measurement from earlier in the day. Mr. Den Hyer was informed that he needs to collect the residual chlorine at the time of sample collection. Mr. Den Hyer indicated that was going to repost his boil water notice until the resample results were final. . ACTION NEEDED: Collect 4 repeat samples. | ||
