| Details: | SUMMARY: Delineation Certified DETAILS: City of Florence submitted a report titled Delineation of Drinking Water Protection Areas City of Florence Oregon in October 2011 (GSI Water Solutions, Inc) for Drinking Water Program Certification. The report identified parameters used in a 3-D computer model used to identify the 1-, 2-, 5-, 10-, 20-, and 30-year capture zones for their current wellfield and a proposed future wellfield. After DWP initially reviewed and commented on the delineation proceedure and GSI Water Solutions responded to questions and comments the Delineation for the existing wellfield (Wells #1 through #13) was Certified on March 16, 2012. The Delineation for the proposed wellfield was not Certified as by OAR definition it is a provisional delineation and provisional delineations can not be Certified. Instead the DWP approves of the computer modeling assumptions used to identify the provisional delineation. See Source Water Assessment file for full details.
