| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed penalty warning letter and delinquent sampling DETAILS: Jette Larsen called after receiving the Programs letter of March 16, 2012. She stated that samples have not been collected due to the weather, and the inability to access the well. She also stated that the park is being connected to the City of Rainier for sewer service, and they might also connect for water service as well. Ms. Larsen also stated that the park manager (Teri Zanile?) has attended the small water system training but for some reason the Program hasnt received the certificate. I discussed the differences between utilizing the well and having the City of Rainier directly serve water to park residents. I also explained that routine samples for chemicals should not be delayed by weather, and that the samples would likely be collected in the park. Ms. Larsen stated that she would contact the laboratory and arrange to have samples collected as soon as possible. ACTION NEEDED: Await news that SOC and VOC samples have been collected. Determine identity and verify that Rainier Park manager did attend the SWS training. I stated that I would find out the appropriate person at the City of Rainier to discuss connection of park residents to City water, and that I would provide that information to Ms. Larsen. | ||
