| Details: | SUMMARY: Ethylene Dibromide (EDB) 2x the MCL at .00012mg/L DETAILS: The system on a conference call was notified that the notice will need to be posted for a minimum of 7 days but allowed the posting to be extended to February 20,2012. Margaret requested extension to retest at the proper entry point after treatment and before distribution into the system to verify employee exposure. Test America was asked to take samples for EDB and send reports to the state. The reports were labeled as waste water and not drinking water since January 2011. It also appears the samples may not have been taken in the proper place. Filters have been installed on sinks in lunch rooms, no plan review. Bottled water has been provided to employees for the last 5 years. ACTION NEEDED: System shutting down the well as of 2/13/12 and going on the emergency source which is the city of Fairview. System will be taking samples at the proper entry point and all employee sinks. | ||
