| Details: | SUMMARY: Well #2 sample for February Ecoli DETAILS: Spoke to Mike from OAWU who is not contracting with Vineyard Mountain Water to maintain and test the system. He stated that his recent assessment test was Ecoli positive. I told Mike I would confirm procedures for follow up with Betsy Perry at the Springfield office. She confirmed that 5 confirmation samples would need to be taken. I relayed that information to Mike and Walter Barken the president of the water system. I contacted the Portland office to notify them that I was aware of the test results. Two of five samples were coliform positive with no Ecoli detections. I informed Betsy of the results. She stated they would continue with assessment monitoring of well #2. Eight rounds have been completed. Ecoli detection was officially unconfirmed. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to monitor assessment sample results. | ||
