| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate non reporting DETAILS: I made a follow up call on the non reporting violation and spoke with operator. He said he did no know he had to test for nitrates on a yearly basis. I had spoke with him ion various occasions about data on line and the information listed on the site. He came in the office today and we reviewed the sampling schedule details and the information that it offered the operator. He was still disappointed that it did not tell him directly what tests should be done. I trained him on how to forecast tests due from this data sheet. The operator really expects county staff to remind him on when tests are due. I told him I would gladly help if he called on me but it was his responsibility to familiarize himself with the information out on the DJS website and it was his system. ACTION NEEDED: He pulled 2 samples today but the cemetery well #3 was not working and he would have to submit that sample at a different time. | ||
