| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic Alert Response - MCL Violation DETAILS: Received alert for arsenic result of 0.0158 mg/l from sample collected 3/28/12. This is the fourth quarter the arsenic sample has been above the MCL with an RAA of 0.0133 mg/l, so it is now a violation of the water quality standards. Spoke with Greg. Discussed the public notice requirement. The city has already had discussions with their engineer regarding treatment options. The city is ranked sixth on the current SRF project priority list. ACTION NEEDED: City to distribute public notice, send copy to DWP, plan for installing treatment, continue quarterly monitoring for arsenic and public notice until the issue is resolved. | ||
