| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate sample over half the MCL DETAILS: I called Ken on 3/12/12 to find out if there had been any follow up samples from the sample taken on 1/26/12. At that time Ken had indicated the repair work had been made to the nitrate treatment system and follow up sampling would be done. Ken said that a sample had indeed been taken and he would fax the sample results to this office. Ken faxed sample results from 2/2/12 and I faxed that to the state. Ken indicated on the fax that he would have another sample taken in March. He also stated that salt usage for the treatment was up and he felt that the treatment system was working much better than before the end of January/ The system is already on quarterly sampling and will continue to be. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to monitor nitrate results and return to compliance the MCL if next nitrate results are acceptable. | ||
