| Details: | SUMMARY: Visited system to inspect treatment upgrades. DETAILS: System has been under an Admistrative Order to provide adequate filtration. Visited system on 4/28/12 and inspected new installation. Treatment consists of a 5-micron pre-filter, approved Rosedale cartridge filter with appropriate housing and adaptor basket, new continuous-reading turbidimeter with auto shut off, 10 gpm flow restrictor, flow meter, new chlorine solution tank and feed pump, and modifications to the inlet of the finished water storage tank. System was functioning well during my visit. Contractor (David Funderburk, H2O Technologies) provided staff with O&M manual and reviewed standard operating procedures (data monitoring and recording, daily plant checks, filter change-out, etc). ACTION NEEDED: Await test results for colifom bacteria, expected 5/1/12. If OK, write approval letter. | ||
