| Details: | SUMMARY: Switch to Willamette supply DETAILS: Rich called to discuss regulatory requirements involved with switching to the new Willamette source. We discussed DBPs and Lead/copper. I asked Rich to consider doing a few exploratory samples in the distribution based such as downstream from the new reservoir and then modifying Sherwoods existing Stage 2 monitoring plan as needed based on the results. For lead copper, we discussed finishing up on the Portland joint monitoring plan by 6/30/12 and conducting round one of exclusively Sherwood lead copper sites (minimum 60) by 12/31/12. He was able to identify 43 previously used sites that he will try to reuse. Rich said that Sherwood is receiving 200,000 gpd from PWB (about 1/5 of wintertime supply), 2.5 mgd from Wilsonville, and the rest from the groundwater wells. ACTION NEEDED: System will begin Stage 2 monitoring in May and evaluate/modify current sampling plan as needed. System will leave PWB joint monitoring at end of June and finish round 1 of 2 of their own LCR sampling by the end of 2012. | ||
