Details: | 11.23.20 - Contacted Mr. Ragsdale informing him that the three violation on the Data Online website are for not submitting your monthly corrosion control report. This is different than collecting your lead and copper samples in June-Sept monitoring period. The system has a minimum of 7.1 pH that they need to maintain and report to DWS monthly. Daily readings is best but rules requires a min of one reading at least every two weeks. It’s best not to sample every two weeks for pH because if its below 7.1 then that is counted as an excursion and every day before the last reading is also counted as an excursion. If there are more than 9 excursions in a six month time period, then it’s a violation. Public notice will be needed and the system will also have to start over on lead and copper initial monitoring. Advised operator to please start reporting monthly corrosion control reports asap. violations will eventually return back to compliance once the system start sending in their reports. |
