| Details: | SUMMARY: Contract operator phoned in for help with Public Notice requirements DETAILS: Randy phoned in because Katrinka at the County is out sick. This water system recently got new test results that are again high in lead and copper. He wanted to know which public notice to use. He said the last one he found was not very descriptive on on point. I looked up our online templates, and phoned him back. Yes, he says they have already provided the lead educational brochure to the users. And his co-worker at the office had already generated one PN for copper and one for lead (using Pniwriter I suspect) but when he read sections to me over the phone, it was missing the text about what prompted this notice and what they are doing to correct the situation. He thought it might have been edited so it could fit all on one page. Told him they need all required sections in the Notice. I sent him some email links afterwards. ACTION NEEDED: Operator needs to post the Public Notice with all required sections, though it could be combined into one Notice addressing both lead and copper (if they can get it to fit). County regulator will follow up on PN posting and steps towards resolution of these long-standing issues with lead and copper. Also, check on when proposed system changes will be submitted for Plan Review. | ||
